Tutor.com Wins Tech & Learning Award of Excellence for High-Dosage Tutoring
Evidence-Backed Learning Accelerator Honored with a Best of 2024 Award
NEW YORK, January 31, 2025 /— Tutor.com, one of the world’s largest and most innovating online tutoring organizations, announced that it has been recognized with a Tech & Learning Award of Excellence for High-Dosage Tutoring. This is the second consecutive year that the company’s High-Dosage Tutoring has been recognized by Tech & Learning.
Tutor.com’s award-winning High-Dosage Tutoring is a research-based series of programs to help at-risk students make significant, accelerated learning gains. It provides intensive, small-group tutoring using curricula aligned with state standards. There are formative and summative assessments, and students benefit from having a consistent expert tutor. Programs are available in math and English Language Arts (ELA) for grades 3 through 8, as well as Algebra I.
“We are thrilled for this recognition from Tech & Learning,” said John Calvello, Chief Institutional Officer at Tutor.com and The Princeton Review®. “Our team of educators purpose-built our High-Dosage Tutoring curricula and programs to help learners make significant, accelerated learning gains—and we are proud to partner with K–12 schools and districts to close achievement gaps and advance student success.”
The Best of 2024 Awards program celebrates educational technology from the last twelve months that has excelled and shone in supporting teachers, students, and education professionals in the classroom, for professional development or general management of education resources and learning. Judges were industry experts tasked with identifying which products go above and beyond to contribute to the education sector.
