Career Experience

My teaching experience includes 16 years in history and social studies. I have taught dual enrollment and/or advanced placement classes in United States History, European History, and Psychology as well as other social studies electives. I coached students in various contests that required excellent writing skills, including National History Day, Mock Trial, the Peace Essay and Law Day Essay contests. Several of my students won state and national titles.

I Love Tutoring Because

I like to see the excitement of students when they master something they have struggled with. I also think working one-on-one with students is the best way to ensure student success, even when they just need a pat on the back that says, "Nicely done."

She was very nice however better for shorter essays because we were not able to get through a lot of it as she took a lot of time. I would prefer a tutor who simply moves on quicker. Like I said very nice but just not for me. Also connectivity issues but that's my fault.
